We had a great time, now i'm off to something new.
Updates barely happened here, mostly cause it was a lot of work for me. All the html-stuff, plus translating everything from german to english (or backwards) was ment to be a service for you guys, but obviously it was more work for me than worth all that work.
Still, Twitter is the thing I like most, and also still 140 characters are sometimes just not enough space to say everthing that's on my mind. And THAT'S where Tumblr came.
Everything a bit more reduced, but not less efficient, less work for me and exactly what I searched for. So, if you want to see more than just a few tweets or status-updates on Facebook from me, take a look at my new tumblr-site: Redmakers Place
Sad thing for you english guys: This new thing will mostly be in german. I figured that most of my audience is from germany, so I may post in english from time to time, but don't expect it that often anyway. I'm really sorry about that.
For everyone who followed this blog here: Thank you. I never expected that ANYone would read this things. I enjoyed to bring you some content, and I hope you liked what you found here. And maybe we'll meet again at Tumblr.
Greetings, your
Redmaker

Tutorial: How do I make Ingame - Videos?
How do I make Ingame-Videos?
In my channel at justin.tv I got asked a few times how I broadcast games from my consoles. Since I also had a discussion now about “Let’s Plays” on a German gamer – community too, I thought I should make a detailed tutorial about this topic.
Attention!
Please don’t think this is a “This is the only way” – tutorial, I just explain how I do all this. There are often alternatives, so I will, if helpful, mention those in the subtopics.
If you still have questions leave me a comment or send me an email. (Address can be found on the contact – page.)
So, here’s an overview about the topics:
- Basics: What hardware do I need?
- How do I connect everything?
- Capture Software: Let’s start recording!
- How do I record a separate audio commentary?
- Scaling, bitrates, changing formats: Converter
- Video Editing: Let’s get creative!
- Nerds: How about Gameboy games?
- Realtimegamer: How do I produce a Livestream?
- Pal60 – Why is my video just black/white?
Now, let’s start with the tutorial!

Just a short update *sigh*
Yes, I am still alive! And yes, I'm finally working on an update. A BEAST of an update, that is...
I finally got my new Videograbber and I'm working on an (almost) complete tutorial how to record vids from console-games, how to edit them, how to broadcast, blablayadayada, muuuuch typing right now.
Still some things I want to figure out, like how I can deinterlace my recorded vids. Deinterlace, oh how I love you [/sarcasmoff]...
So, new update should be probably uploaded in 1-3 days, wish me luck!!
